The ERN-Med news’ coordinators (Mediterranean Regional News Exchange) met on the 28 and 29 of January in Zagreb.
The meeting, organised by COPEAM and hosted by the HRT, gathered the representatives of the following organisations: ASBU-Arab States Broadcasting Union, EBU-European Broadcasting Union, EPTV/Algeria, HRT/Croatia, RAI/Italy, RTVE/Spain, SNRT/Morocco and Tunisian TV.
The participants stressed, among other topics, the need of a greater involvement of the member channels in terms of contributions’ volume and of quality of the proposed items, as well as of financial support for more regular meetings.
A presentation of the EBU M2M online platform was made by the Eurovision representative, as a tool allowing to constantly monitor the news exchanged daily.
Finally, the institution of an ERN-Med Prize related to the theme of COPEAM annual conference was announced.
