THE NEW TV COPRODUCTION “INTER-RIVES”


The 9th edition of “Inter-Rives”, the long standing TV coproduction promoted by COPEAM and ASBU, was recently launched. Through a call for participation spread in February 2022, public broadcasters from the two networks have been invited to join the project and take part in two professional workshops for the production – by each of them – of one documentary of 13’ on the main series’ topic.

COPEAM-EIB Transnational Newsroom in the framework of the COP28


Dubai, 4-8 December 2023

In the framework of the partnership with the EIB-European Investment Bank, COPEAM has set up a transnational newsroom to cover the COP28 United Nations Conference on Climate Change, hosted by the UAE in Dubai in December 2023.    
Under the coordination of a senior international expert and with the support of a local production team and of COPEAM staff, the 10 selected journalists worked for 3 intense days to produce news items about this huge international event, shooting, writing, recording and editing several reportages, analysis and interviews which were then published or aired…

“Effective Reporting on Migration”: a follow-up webinar gathered the two E3J trainings’ beneficiaries

In the framework of the EU-funded project E3J (European Excellence Exchange in Journalism), on 7 May 2024, COPEAM organized a webinar gathering the two groups of beneficiaries who previously took part in the trainings “Effective Reporting on Migration”, held in 2023 in Belgrade (February) and Madrid (November).

The webinar, conducted by Charles Autheman (lead expert) highlighted the key features of both COPEAM trainings: “The Balkan route, images, mixed migration” and “Labour migration in the agri-food sector“.
