Kantara celebrates its 25th anniversary serving the Mediterranean

Twenty-five years, a quarter of a century during which the Kantara team has been waiting for us every week for the Mediterranean radio rendezvous.

To begin this anniversary season, the program's 6 journalists have done a remarkable work, while the region has been affected by dramatic and terribly deadly events such as the earthquake in Morocco and the new conflict in the Middle East.

With its multicultural approach, this unique magazine offers a transnational reading of current affairs and the major issues facing Mediterranean societies, thanks to thematic broadcasts as well as reports and interviews which witness regional solidarity and a dialogue that is still possible.

Kantara also covers leading cultural and political events through special recordings dedicated, for example, to COP28, or to the Mediterranean Day by the Union of the Mediterranean, an opportunity to honour the hope of what brings us together.
