    MEMBERS

COPEAM's By-Laws don't imply differences between the members' categories. The Members can be divided into macro-categories, depending on their involvement in COPEAM running (participation in the General Assemblies and in the Executive Bodies) and activities: Founding Members, Adherent Members (Active and Honour ones); Associated Members; Supporting Members

Founding Members: They took part in the Conference of Cairo, in January 1996, that marked the constitution of the Association and the official signature of its By-Laws.

The Adherent Members's group includes:

Active Members: they are physical and juridical persons that adhere to the Association, support its mission and give their contribution in terms of activities and/or financing. This group gathers 5 different categories based on the different domains of activity carried out by each members: Broadcasters; Audiovisual/Media, Culture, Professional Firms, Individuals (see "Members on display" Section)

Honour Members: the status of Honoris causa Member is confered by COPEAM Steering Committee and entitles to take part in the General Assembly of the Association without paying any annual fee.

Associated Members: this category gathers the physical and juridical persons that, without managing the Association, want to support COPEAM's actions. This group of Members includes the "International bodies", category conceived for the International Organisations that, due to their Statutes, can’t be active members of an Association.

Supporting Members: this category gathers the phisical and juridical persons that, without managing the Association, want to finance COPEAM's targets.
