Balkans’ Memory: third seminar on legal framework and promotion of cinematographic and audiovisual contents

Podgorica, 28-30 October 2013

In the framework of Balkans’ Memory project, Ina, in partnership with the Cinematheque of Montenegro and RTCG, organized a seminar on legal framework and promotion of cinematographic and audiovisual contents, from 28 to 30 October 2013.
This seminar was held in Podgorica and follows the previous ones on preservation and restoration of the audiovisual archives, held in Tirana in November 2012, and on digitization and management of digital media, held in Belgrade last April.
In this occasion, the participants deepened the legal framework on the use of cinematographic and audiovisual contents, including the audiovisual rights management. The seminar also dealt with documentation practices and the description of contents, as well as with the promotion of images and sounds throughout pertinent case studies.

Theoretical lessons was further enriched by round tables and relevant study visits led by specialists.

• Case study: Ina valorisation policy This seminar is open to about 15 professionals from the targeted countries1 of the Western Balkans
