The 2021/2022 of the e-learning course for journalists “Reporting climate change” was achieved in January 2022, with 15 graduates from Africa, the Balkans and the MENA region.
The course – aimed at raising awareness among journalists and news professionals about the current climate challenges and at increasing their reporting skills in this field – was made possible thanks to the renewed financial support of the European Investment Bank (EIB) and to the technical partnership of the international Telematic University Uninettuno, a leading institution in the field of the e-learning.

The 8th edition of COPEAM-ASBU Inter-Rives TV documentary coproduction “SustainAbility – Stories of Changemakers” is ready to be aired. This new series gives voice to men and women who – with their skills, ideas, initiatives and efforts in different fields – have taken action for a more sustainable society in their respective countries. 13 public televisions of both shores of the Mediterranean have joined the project: BNT/Bulgaria, ERT/Greece, France Télévisions, HRT/Croatia, NMA/Egypt, PBC/Palestine, RAI/Italy, RSI/Switzerland, RTVE/Spain, RTVSLO/Slovenia, SNRT/Morocco, Sudan TV, Télévision Tunisienne.

The ABU (Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union) and Radio Romania are partnering in organizing an international forum to debate around the important and complex issues of the media’s relationships with culture and the arts in a post-pandemic world.
It will bring together global media and culture experts – mainly from the Asia-Pacific and Europe – to discuss headline issues such as:
- What roles do the media play in cultural maintenance?
- How do the media affect culture?
- How important is culture/the arts in the activities and planning of broadcasters?
