Writing TV series: an innovative training will start next autumn

FIEST – International training for TV series writing project (funded by the EU Erasmus+ programme) is fully operational and all partners – COPEAM, the international university Uninettuno (Italy), France Télévisions and 5 cinema and audiovisual schools: ALBA (Lebanon), ESAV Marrakech (Morocco), INSAS (Belgium), ENSAV Toulouse (France) and ESAC (Tunisia) – are working to kick-off the training after the summer break.

INTER-RIVES TV coproduction: dissemination and new steps

The 6th edition of “Inter-Rives” TV documentary coproduction “Creative memory: the past meets the future”, promoted by COPEAM and ASBU, is in its broadcasting phase.

In the last months, the winners of the Prize for the best documentaries of this cycle – Maja Fister for “Listen to the Stone” (HRT/Croatia) and Ahmad Shawar for “First gallery” (PBC/Palestine) – were invited respectively in Tunis, during the Arab radio & TV Festival of ASBU, and in Vinci (Italy) to be officially awarded.

Call for participation for student short film competition

For the second subsequent year, the Arte Mare Mediterranean Film Festival launches a student film competition. 7 films will be selected to compete and will be screened at the Festival in October, in front of a professional jury and the audience.

The films submitted must be affiliated to a Film School or University. The director/screenwriter or producer must be in his/her last school year or recently graduated.

Prix Italia 2018: the memory of the future

Prix Italia, the international competition organised by RAI, for top quality Radio, TV and Internet programmes, will celebrate its 70th anniversary from the 26th to 28th September on the island of Capri.

The Festival offers an opportunity for meetings and discussion among professionals about quality, innovation and creativity in the programmes production.

This year, a new Cross-Platform Special Prize will be devoted to multimedia projects celebrating the creative use of archive material of cultural value.
