Kantara celebrates its 25th anniversary serving the Mediterranean

Twenty-five years, a quarter of a century during which the Kantara team has been waiting for us every week for the Mediterranean radio rendezvous.

To begin this anniversary season, the program’s 6 journalists have done a remarkable work, while the region has been affected by dramatic and terribly deadly events such as the earthquake in Morocco and the new conflict in the Middle East.

COPEAM@ Media & Culture Days 2023

Bucharest, 16-17 November 2023 

Organized by Radio Romania and ABU (Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union), this event was the continuation of the Media 2020 conference series held from 2015 to 2020, and which succeeded in enhancing a successful dialogue between media professionals from Europe and Asia.

Grand Prix Nova Radio Drama Festival 2024 – open for entries

Grand Prix Nova is a festival organized by the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Corporation. This festival is a competition, opened to public broadcasters and independent producers.

Grand Prix Nova aims to attract radio drama productions from all over the world. We are particularly interested in rewarding innovative artistic works that explore new approaches to radio broadcasting.

We like to define innovation as the artistic trend that reaches out to the new generations by discovering, experimenting and implementing more efficient technical and aesthetic approaches to deliver its message.

Mediterradio, the voice of the Western islands

Every week, Sardinia, Sicily and Corsica meet thanks to Mediterradio, the voice of islands.

Half an hour of immersion in news and culture, a program created in 1997 and hosted today by Vito Biolchini from Cagliari, Adélaïde Costa in Palermo and Jérôme Susini in Ajaccio.
