SouthMed WiA, a project funded by the European Union in the framework of the regional programme MedFilm, launches its 1st Call for Proposals. The objective of this call is to support projects addressing weaknesses and issues related to gender equality and the under-representation of women in the audiovisual sector in seven Southern Mediterranean countries: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia.
The present call includes the following lots: research activities; training; awareness raising and advocacy. The indicative amount available for the 3 lots is EUR 340.000. Any grant awarded under this call for proposals will fall between minimum EUR 80.000 and maximum EUR 100.000.
