Geneva, Switzerland, a training seminar on “Digital
Archives: Mission Possible”.The seminar on Digital Archives has been a huge success.
The fruitful collaboration between COPEAM, EBU and ASBU has allowed to reach a great network of professionals coming from a This Seminar strengthened the mutual comprehension on a common key issue : broadcasters’ projects are carried out differently but they share the same problems and challenges.

Studio and location lighting – 2005
In the framework of the Agreement of Cooperation between COPEAM and LJB Libyan Jamahiriya Broadcasting , an International Training Seminar in the field of lighting has had held in Tripoli (Libya), from 26th September until 2nd October 2005.
The Seminar, addressed to audiovisual professionals, techniques or engineers, with a good expertise in the field and a good knowledge of English language, was open to the participation of Broadcasters members of COPEAM.
TRAINING SEMINAR on TV FORMATS WRITING AND PRODUCTION – 2005
COPEAM, in collaboration with ASBU and RAI – Radiotelevisione Italiana has organized an International Training Seminar on TV Formats writing and production, that has been held from 14 to 21 June in Damascus, in the ASBU Training Center (ASBU TC).
The courses, composed by theoretical and practical sessions, was aimed to form TV authors able to :
– quickly identify the main features of a successful program, by recognizing its fine architecture and by fixing those features to new ideas;
– to mix – as it is requested nowadays to the emerging TV…
FIRST UNIVERSITY OF COPEAM
The first University of COPEAM, organised thanks to the support of the Algerian television -ENTV, has been held in GHARDAIA (Algeria) from 14th to 20th January 2005 on the topic « Mediterranean Media and support to the policies aimed at the environment safeguarding and sustainable development ».
This training project was aimed at gathering young journalists coming from the Mediterranean countries in order to promote the mutual knowledge and the exchanges between the professionals and the broadcasters they belong to. Training Seminar on Digital Radio – 2004
COPEAM, the Libyan radio-TV (LJB) and Italian radio-TV (RAI) have organised in Seba, Libya, from 23rd to 28th November 2004, a technical training seminar addressed to the LJB’ s staff as well as to the radio engineers coming from the broadcasters Members of COPEAM.The training project, divided into both theoretical and practical sessions, has been carried out by two trainers from Radio Department of RAI and from RAI Research Centre of Turin (Italy) who focused their interventions on the technical aspects of the setting up of a digital radio, as well as the use of the equipments concerned.
